Who we are
We are New Zealand's leading retail advertising and production company. Since opening our doors in 2003, we have built an impressive retail client list and equally impressive track record of success with our clients. Along the way, in addition to our strategy and communications capabilities, we have built a world-class suite of in-house production services including Digital, Photography, Pre-press, Motion Graphics and Audio. Today we have over 90 staff and 15 clients, including Farmers, Mazda, Tower Insurance and New World.
How have we achieved this growth?
We are a very different type of ad agency, set up for clients who have very different requirements. We can guarantee that you won't find another agency like us anywhere. Above all we have a different focus, which is squarely on effectiveness for our clients. The work means nothing if it is not producing the best possible results, and we value results above all else. With many retailers and direct-to-public clients on our books, we are well versed in monitoring and analysing results on a daily basis, and changing the work within hours if need be using our custom-built production systems for quick turnaround. We have a different attitude. We pride ourselves on being easy to deal with; we're pragmatic, not precious. We hire as much on character as talent, and our relaxed and friendly culture reflects the quality of people that choose to work at .99.
Where do we fit in the world's largest communications network?
.99 is plugged directly into an international communications network. We are part of Clemenger Australasia which, in turn, is part-owned by BBDO Worldwide, an advertising, marketing and public relations network with 290 offices in 77 countries and over 17,200 employees. BBDO is in turn a subsidiary of Omnicom, the world's largest communications network, whose companies operate in the disciplines of advertising, marketing services, specialty communications, interactive/digital media and media buying services. Part of what makes .99 unique is that, as part of the Clemenger group, we are part owned by shareholding staff members. That means that key staff have a vested interest in continuing the high standards of excellence across the entire group. As part of BBDO Worldwide, we are actively encouraged to draw on the resources and expertise of other agencies within the network. And we are driven by the core philosophy of BBDO Worldwide: that ultimately, producing outstanding work for our clients is the most important thing we do.

Craig has over 26 years experience in specialist Retail advertising and thrives on the cut and thrust that comes from the Retail arena. "What could be more satisfying than getting a brief from a client in the morning, cracking the idea by lunchtime, seeing it in the paper the next day and getting the results the day after?"
Managing Partner – Client Services
Jarad has been with .99 since day one, heading up the client service team and helping .99 grow to the retail force it is today. His passion is for achieving and exceeding sales goals for clients, which has been recognised with .99 being awarded over 30 effectiveness awards for campaigns he has been across.
Managing Partner - Operations
Craig joined .99 in 2011 after 10 years with Clemenger BBDO Sydney as Company Director and Operations Director. A highly accomplished leader with over 25 years experience in theTrans Tasman market. Craig oversees .99's significant internal production capabilities. His current focus is on 99's future development and how we can continue to deliver new systems technologies and workflow streams to benefit our clients.
Managing Partner – Finance
Mike joined .99 in May 2012 year after 12 years with Clemenger BBDO Wellington as Finance Director. A Chartered Accountant with over 13 years' experience in the advertising industry, Mike oversees .99’s Finance, IT and Admin function. He currently sits on the advertising industry body CAANZ's executive board.
